also, you have to think of it like this, the Corner like the DE's have a similar responsibility, they have outside contain. If a RB gets outside the tackle past the DE on a sweep, you cant expect that the LB will already be outside the DE to keep contain, it is now up to the CB to keep contain and you always want to push the offensive player back into the middle part of the field, because that is where your help is coming from. Finally, we can have a single thread instead of having 5 pop up in one day!! Thanks big daddy In short, I own the 'flagship' (that's a joke) speaker system from the Monitor line. Monitor 70s for fronts, CS2 center, and Monitor 40s for surrounds. Throw in an Onkyo 805 and I have no problems driving rather very power hungry fronts at an entry level perspective. I have their 6.5" in walls for surrounds. For surround duty they're great. They are well worth the money. The low end is kind of lacking so for front stage I'd go with the 8's if you could swing it.

A typical wall depth is 3.5" so construction of a small box would be your best bet if you cannot mount them totally inside the wall cavity. For aesthetics, I would do them the same way on both sides. You could make the boxes and then put some polyfill behind them.

I was told by a person who is at the top of the food chain for BB/NOLA. He recently attended the annual meeting in vegas at the Billagio, and was told they are currently in the middle of closing a deal with Paradigm and several other High end companies. Ok, I'll go first... Are there any other Reference Connoisseur owners out there? I'm curious if anyone has the in-wall RC-6W or in-ceiling RC-8C speakers. I'd like to hear your impressions of them. I've been considering a pair as my surround backs. Also, any Veritas owners here as well? Are they significantly better than the RC line?

You might still want to upgrade your sub eventually even in the current room not necesarely for the power but mostly for a lower frequency response. Low 20hz even high 10hz as yours goes down to only 35hz and even 40hz at +/-3db.
