I really really would like to see this in Blu, but it not having any solid extras is making me iffy. Is it worth it? And is Blue Planet in blu?

31 Days of Halloween Movies - Horror Fans Unite! I'm starting this thread b/c I've decided to page through my horror collection and watch at least 31 horror movies by Halloween. I hope to watch one per day, but we'll see how it goes. So, every time you watch one, post the name of the movie, rating and your thoughts on it. This should ...

I have been on a retro binge lately. My Netflix queue is full of 80's movies that take me back to my childhood. However, I've noticed a common theme among the movies: they're nowhere near as good as they were 25 years ago. Take, for instance, Red Sonja. It used to come on all the time on TBS and I watched it religiously, but I watched it last week for the first time in years, and it was ...

Couldn't let last week's viewing of the new 2008 " Young Frankenstein" BD commentary go by without pithily appropriate quote from Brooks-- (And although not mentioning any names by title, given the timing, it's pretty darn hard not to guess): "I've been called the Grandfather of the Parody Genre--That may be true, and...I'd like to apologize: I'm sorry I started it. It's gotten out of hand."...

Don Cheadle replacing Terrance Howard as Rhodey Quote: Don Cheadle is stepping in to replace Terrence Howard in Marvel Studios' Iron Man 2, says The Hollywood Reporter. In the first film, Howard played Col. James 'Rhodey' Rhodes, Tony Stark/Iron Man's best friend and future armor-clad hero War Machine. The trade says Marvel had no comment, but sources ...

As a blu-ray collector, what is something you feel stupid for doing and sometimes won't admit it? Whether it's constantly reorganizing them or having to watch your favorite ones periodically... or anything, admit it. Here's your chance. As for me, I have a habit of sticking all the title stickers along the top of a brand new blu-ray, on the wall, and I'll line them up.

What movies get you emotionally involved. Not just love, but those you hate also. Movies that get you going or make your blood boil. Ex. Crash. I love this film while many people I know hate it and will defend why. For me: The Mist - I can't remember a horror film dividing alot of people like this one has. Maybe The Blair Witch Project but this seems to divide alot of people on ...

Even though Blu Ray is picking up speed a lot of the TV shows I watch and collect are still only available on DVD even though they are filmed in HD. (The Office, My Name is Earl, House, etc.) I was curious if a Blu Ray version is not announced and it is unknown on when (if ever) a Blu Ray will be released do you buy the DVD?

What movies have you seen so far this year that seemed to fly under the radar or get really bad reviews from everyone? For me I would say Charlie Bartlett & Chronicles Of Narnia: Prince Caspian. I know Prince Caspian is doing pretty good, but I liked it almost as much as the Lord Of The Rings trilogy, and deserves more recognition.

Captain America Screen-cap in The Incredible Hulk Well, it finally been found. Here's the article from FirstShowing.net : This isn't a lie. This isn't a joke. This is confirmed news. Back in the summer when we were caught up in both Iron Man and Incredible Hulk, two rather exciting easter eggs were discovered in both movies. In Iron ...
