Is the movie going to play in non-IMAX 3D theaters? Because I think my theater may be showing select 3D movies now

It would be impossible to pass judgment until seeing the film in imax 3-D.

I think going into a CGI type of movie like Christmas Carol make sense. I've been a fan of Tintin all my life but I can't see how they could truly translate it into "live action" and make it serious. It should look good in computer animation.

I have heard nothing. HBO sucks when it comes to their shows on Blu. They have what like 5 shows on Blu and not even all of the seasons. The Sopranos, True Blood, Band of Brothers and John Adams. What else am i missing?
Either way, Eastbound and Down will be a day 1 for me when the Blu does drop.

I'm looking forward to this one, and hope they get it right. I love the character. That scenario is true to the comics.

I thought it was awesome. The violence just had me laughing at how crazy it was. I will be buying this on Blu-ray.

Top 5 so far for me would probably be Up, Star Trek, Watchmen, The Hurt Locker, and District 9.
I can easily make room for four new movies, if the award season pulls through with some good ones. But as of right now, that's my top 5.
And for what it's worth, I've probably only seen about 8 2009 movies.

Not a big fan of the series, but this may break records. Well, maybe not the Blu-ray, but possibly the DVD.
Curious - anyone know what the single most sold Blu-ray is? Dark Knight?

What is your favorite trilogy?
I was just wondering with so many great trilogies out there, what is your favorite one? Not the BEST, but favorite.
Let the voting begin!

Yeah me too. I got into it late (around mid season three). But eventually I noticed it was pretty much the same plot over and over again with the baddie of the week and nothing ever changing.

So, I couldn't find an older thread. It's out on BD. This is one of my favorite movies of all time. I've seen it many many times and each time you appreciate it more if you like it.
Personally I think it's a brilliant film.
One of my uncle's really thinks about this movie a lot and compares the main character to a Christ like figure who has to die and is reborn again.

For being such a low budget production....that scene where the brother is floating outside his kid brother's window saying "LET ME IN......"
