Go to Monoprice, and get an RG6 sub cable. Mine is 35 foot, and works great.

Simply put, what film media did you first start your home theater with. Not just a TV and say a VCR but a real (In your own opinion) home theater.

Ideally you would want the speakers tweeters to be ear level. Also, they should not be spread as far apart as the surround speakers. This chart should be helpful, though the location of the subwoofer could probably be improved in the diagram.

Very clever idea. It'll reduce costs, increase space, and so on but I'll be more concerned about interrupted signals. It'll probably have similar problems as any wireless router.

APC had great deals on their silver color home A/V products because they will be selling only black products from now on (silver was discontinued). Go here for more information: http://www.apc.com/products/apcav/index.cfm .
It does seem like they are still selling solver products and so I am not sure what is going on.
Update: maybe this only applied to the H15 product.

So, ace out the LCD/LED option. I've pretty much come to that conclusion.
Why DLP over plasma? I'm not sure I want to go to 70 inches.

I have a ps3, pioneer vsx-918v, and a 42" sharp aquos. I have a HDMI cable running from my ps3 to my pioneer, then a HDMI cable from the pioneer to the tv. Picture is great but for some reason I will not receive full surround from the speakers, only the 2 fronts and sub have output. PS3 audio settings are set to HDMI ...
