That wasn't a guy telling you what happened in the previous episodes. The 'Galactic Newsreel Announcer' is at the beginning of every episode. And unlesss the episode is part of a multi-part episode, he's just there to set-up the episode.

Depends on the series like the Spider-Man movies Spider-Man 3 is my least favorite(but didn't exactally hate it) but it came with 1 and 2 if you bought the boxset so I got the boxset and enjoyed it. But if something like Son of the Mask, the Dumb and Dumberer prequel, or Ace Ventura Jr. those will never enter my collection. X-Men 3 wasn't great but not really bad enough to be in the same situation as the ones I will never have enter...

Oh yeah... I'm a terrible completist. In fact, with the "Criterion Collection" releases, that completist side of me wants me to buy every film that was released, so I can have everything in numerical order. There is also a part of me where I'm starting to enjoy certain director's work and want to own every film they released on Blu (or DVD). As for Bond, yeah...I purchased every film on DVD but on Blu-ray,...

Is Netflix sending stripped down discs?
A bunch of my recent rentals have had no special features--and when I look up the reviews there are plenty listed. I don't see any second disc available for the special features.
Some of the recent titles I remember: Transformers 2, I Love You Beth Cooper, My Life in Ruins.

is the japan release the same master as the UK copy? cause i head that one was terrible $54.99 plus shipping? 37 + shipping from amazon jp. still up there. it does look like this copy is by universal though, so it should be a better transfer than the UK copy.

This is truly a worthwhile film. The sound is outstanding, the soundtrack superb, and Rorschach's [sp?] kicks ***. Plus you get an extra long movie (2hours and 40minutes). While this isn't the best movie ever made, it is certainly a quality superhero movie that everyone can relate to.
I'll buy it the first day it comes out.

Star Trek was shown in IMAX theaters, but in its original aspect ratio. None of the film was shot using IMAX cameras.

I highly recommend it!
It's one of my favorite movies of this year (so far).
It SHOULD also be a real treat to witness both the video and audio in HD.

Coming soon - Sword of the Stranger - (Genre: Samurai/action).
I think many anime fans who love action samurai period type of films will dig this. A lot of emphasis on the fight scenes. I interviewed the Director Masahiro Ando although no spoilers, best to read after you watched the film.

Yes! More confirmation of a firm 2010 release Wow, all of the Bonus content from the Alien Quadrilogy DVD in addition to BD-exclusive content. Now that's impressive. It will take forever to get through all of that...probably need a backpack just to carry it in. Ooooh...now that's an idea for exclusive packaging...an official 'Nostromo' backpack with...
