Has anyone else had a problem with a lot of downloaded files being found as infected with win32/adclicker.jo Trojan? I have had CA Anti-Virus 2008 find and then delete, not quarantine a lot of files that I have recently downloaded. These include some free and some that I have paid for like Nero 8, K-Lite Mega Codec Pack 4.1.7,
QuickTime Alternative 2.7.0, UltraIso, Spybot 160 and a lot of other ...

It's only the 13th of the month but I got an 80% usage (of 12MB) warning from Bigpond today. A
quick check of Bigpond's usage meter shows me that 5.3GB has been chewed up in the last 4 days and and about 4GB of that was upload. Given that I don't run a server and my average aggregate monthly usage is somewhere between 6 and 7 GB, it seems pretty certain that one of my systems has been got at. I ...

I have recently received an email with an attachment. However, when I attempted to open it, the subject area shows a shiny CD icon next to the subject title and the letters "wmv" immediately following. When I right click on this, the "Mail Attachment" screen shows that the attachment is a "Windows Media (TM) movie". However, when I click on this, I get a message stating "This file does not ...

There are numerous peices of software to hide your IP Address and in the end if you do something completely evil/wrong/illegal etc on the internet pretty much no matter what software you use your ISP will have this information in the system logs as when you connect to the internet either via old PSTN dial-up
modems or broadband your ISP will allocate an IP address associated with your username ...

I searched before posting but my apologies if I'm asking for a help on a FAQ. My kids
stingy parents are finally installing broadband. Teenage son intends to access this wirelessly from his laptop. Questions: will I have set up a home network if I allow this? Will I need additional software ie more than antivirus, Adaware, Firewall? Thanks, Geoff
