The thing that got me about this knife for some reason is the thumb ramp and jimping, both look pretty functional, this is defintely my top 5 hit list for folders. I currently do not own any 154CM blade (so I think, I forget) I really am digging the way this knife looks.

What price range did you have in mind ****(edited---sorry, didn't see that you had stated a price range)****and what kind of use do you plan. Just curious if anyone ever buys replica knives, by that I mean like knives from movies and such. Like Rambo? Does anyone own a rambo replica knife? I have a Sweeney Todd replica razor. Just curious if anyone else likes this kind of stuff

Because of the tactical hype and the thinking that you have to pry with your knife, open cars or step on it.
A lot of knifes is build solid because of all those fools ruining their knifes with abuse and then start crying because of the "bad quality"...

Annnnd a big old ZT302 in your back pocket as your backup... And it just so happens that you always use your backup blade just so your primary blade is always in tip top shape for when you need it.

I've hated on this knife a lot on these forums, but I was supremely disappointed with the cold steel ti-lite 4". My grievances include: Inaccessible thumb stud, sharp quillons, slow deployment, cheapo box, thick blade. It came pretty dull too and smelled like synthetic death. Maybe I just had a lemon but that was a dreadful purchase.

I like the alox better. My EDC for the last seven years has been a Soldier model, switching to a Farmer when in the woods. The knife blade is slightly thicker, and they just seem "tougher" to me. I also always have a Vic Classic on my keyring for the added benefit of scissors and tweezers.

Just caught the end of a Joseph Rogers well worn slip joint Model designation appears to be their address (No.6 Norfolk St Sheffield), Fenix TK10, Buck Alpha Hunter Folder, Spyderco Hossom Forester, Leatherman Charge Ti, (and Manix and PXL again)
