nice avi TAN!!! i used to take it.. i stopped... you have to drink a lot of water, take vit b complex and have a diet rich in vit c or just drink it... i thought i was doing that but i broke out bad!   it is good for thickening the hair though... i took target's brand

after having to cut off inches of heat damaged..im saying no to all heat period.. i plan to get it straightened maybe years from now but not no time soon. if the BTK loosen the curl pattern, it had to have broke down SOME kind of bond in your hair if it doesn't reverts to its previous state.scientifically, if your hair bonds are broken down/re-arranged via heat or chemicals even to the slightest degree, its damaged/heat trained/etc...but...

the simple fact that it change syour texture, to me is no different then a relaxer...smoother follicles whatever, its changing your natural texture of your hair. i wouldnt do it.

Im of no help to you ... I just checked your fotki I LOVE YOUR HAIR just deal with it seriously though, I think I know what u mean, thats why I'm natural for the 3rd time in 10 years ... each of the 2 times before I was natural for 2 years then when my hair got too long and unmanagble for me I relaxed. but honestly, this time I think it will be for good....

Awwww LQ! Good luck with that take down. I sooo understand. I have been going back w/ locs. I luv my free hair too much right now to wholeheartedly commit to lockin' Cleo down. We'll see in about 10 mo' years.
