RIM, please respond.   The only reason I bought the bb was to sync my desktop calendar with my phone.   I am paying a lot for nothing.   I have done all the updates, reinstalled software, reboot, etc.--everything suggested.  Nothing works.   Each time I get the message "terminated unexpectedly" or "unknown error".  Ridiculous.

I can't really help, but mine does the same thing.  You put it on loud setting and can barely hear the ring (and I don't have hearing problems at all).  It helped some to change the ring tone; some ring tones seem to 'play' louder than others.   I like the phone ringing ones, but those seem soft; some of the music ones are louder.

I agree - it's terrible!  Hope it's just a software issue that someone can develop a solution for.

Hi and welcome to the Forums!   You cannot. Whoever set the password set it...and security on BB's is very good, so there is no back door. Seems that a cheap price was not cheap enough.    Sorry.

Hi and Welcome to the Forums!   You need to contact your carrier as they control your BIS account credentials. Some have a "forgot" button on their web interface to their BIS...you can find your carriers web interface to BIS here: http://www.blackberryfaq.com/index.php/Where_can_I _log_into_my_BIS_account%3F   But in all cases, your carrier controls your BIS account.   Good ...
