The home (used 99% of the time) charger is the OEM Blackberry that came with the 8350i and the office AC charger is a Motorola. These have been working well for some time. I bought a car charger (Motorola) and for some reason both AC chargers will only charge the phone (as indicated by the lightning bolt atop of the battery icon) for ~ 1 minute. I vote no. Too much of a hassle. I have Nextel. Usually I can tell by the message subject if it's related to Boost. BTW, don't forget about SouthernLINC! They may want their own 8350i forum too! Oh yeah... They're dying off... Posted from my CrackBerry at wapforums.crackberry.com

that DM should work.... double check and make sure that your plugged in the back of your computer. also check your device manager and see if it might be turning off the USB ports.

Sounds like a memory issue. If your memory gets too low, your BB automatically deletes stuff in order to free up memory to keep running. Check your file free space by holding Alt, Caps and H at the same time. I believe it begins to do this if the memory drops below 10MB or so. Go into the Syncronization setup and make sure the arrow is going from device to outlook and not vice versa. I sync the calendar on my BB to Outlook never from outlook to the BB. I am attempting to connect the BB Desktop Manager to the 8350i. In the past, it asked if you want to use it in some sort of storage mode (I can't remember). Now it does not ask this question. log in to boostmobile.com and check the IMEI number listed in your account ... i bet you need to update that number for the new 8350i phone (you can find it behind the battery on a sticker)... let me know if that solves your problem. Posted from my CrackBerry at wapforums.crackberry.com

there were some usb cables in the day when i had my pearl that wouldnt work but think they were older usb 1.0 cables. try a newer usb cable. i use one that came with my usb harddrive from western digital. charger... you have to make sure the charger is the same voltage output, 5v, and make sure it puts out enough current, milliamps/amps, equal to or greater than the 8350 needs.
