Are you connecting to a
USB hub? I've seen this issue connecting to USB hubs. Have you tried a different USB port? Also, have you tried to reboot the PC?

Not sure how to fix it.. I would venture to guess it could be a particular website you are visiting, do you know how large your
Browser Cache is?
Also make sure you running the latest OS for the 8900.

I was hoping the previous reply would help but it did not. I have eliminated the mapping of photos and attachments from
my address book and calendar.
Other things I have tried:
-exported contacts to excel to examine all the fields.
-installed v4.7
Is there any way of turning on or viewing some sort of log file which would tell me which record it is have a problem with ??
