Yes I had that problem with a beta of IM+ 7. I use LED reset which is a handy app when this type of thing happens. Get it here OTA

I Justed installed and migrated to Blackberry Enterprise Server 5.0. I used the cutover method (backing up database and restore to new server). Now all blackberries work fine...but inside Blackberry Server Configuration I tried to update the Administration Service-LDAP settings and I click Verify with a responce LDAP settings are Valid, however when I click Apply I get Error Opening Configuration . So, I too have this error and I can clear my call logs, but it just re-occurs later on. Any one have ideas as to why this occurs and the real fix? Thanks!

I'm ready to throw in the towel on this Pearl. I have never, in the entire 18 months I've owned this thing - regardless of DM version (I have the latest 4.7) - gone an entire month without having it crash. I got pretty good at one time soft-reseting, clearing logs and re-synching, but now, I get "operation terminated unexpectedly" and can't seen to find any way to fix it. I've read this thread,...

what yu are trying is say is you install DM 4.7 to a system with OS of " WINDOWS 7 build 7000" the problem is the OS and not DM... i also encounter the same thing,,,, seem like Windows 7 doesn't fully support DM 4.7 yet... will try 4.6 and lower....

In Blackberry Messenger, if I'm typing a message in a conversation between more than 2 people, my messages are being sent back to me. I type the message, hit send and it's displayed with my name in Blue. Then a few seconds later, it comes back to me with my name displayed in Red as if someone else had sent it. It's really annoying. HI, I have an urgent problem and not sure the best practice. I made a backup of BESmgmt.mdf and .ldf before upgrading from BES 4.1.4 to BES 5. I ran the upgrade, it has already upgraded the Blackberry Config database and then after advising it needs Java etc, it asked to reboot. The server at this stage never booted back due to hard drive problems. The server has been rebuilt ...

For example, one user got a message at 12:36, and no more until 2.48, at which time about 10 arrived on the device. I keep getting the following error when saving events to my Calendar: Code: uncaught exception: net.rim.device.api.system.ObjectGroupReadOnlyExcep tion It takes two (2) attempts to successfully save the event. After the save I receive the error. While the event is saved successfully the alarm never alerts me. Anybody have an answer?!?!?

i was able to follow all the directions up to where it says add when i selected mypin.alx the 8330 curve didnt accept it and it backed out of the process.. im trying to transfer over from my 8830 to the new 8330 using DM4.3 now when i repeat the process the temp folder holding the pin is empty and it does not try to do a backup process. Basically, what you need to do is verify on the Blackberry user in question if, under their mailbox rights, your BES Admin has Full Mailbox Access under the 'Exchange Advanced', 'Mailbox Rights'.
