its the blackberry bolt-on. free on plans above £20, and about £10 on plans below. Personal. I was considering moving because I could get more for my money with O2 than t-mobile. i.e. 150 minutes, 300 texts and the blackberry email and internet booster for £27.50 a month. O2: 600 minutes, 1200 texts, and blackberry bolt-on for £20 a month.

Android is a great idea, but as an open source design, it needs to be developed. For me, the BB is a stop gap until Android is further developed and I am hoping 2.5 will get it where I want it. A side note is that the Android app store already has about 15,000 apps available, and should quickly add more. Like Rambo47, I'm looking for the perfect mobile device and I see that in Android. Like my switch to linux, I'm also waiting till...

Indian, there is just so much wrong with all this. The Storm is a complete disaster? You're believing your own lie, and to even state RIM is losing market share proves you're talking with no clear knowledge of what you're saying, and it basically just invalidates all else you have to say.

App Error 523
Published (2009-11-08 14:58:00)
Welcome to the forums. What app have you installed? That usually indicates an issue with an app. Your best bet would be to use DM and go into app loader to remove the application you installed. If that isn't possible, your only other option would be to reinstall the OS. Any way you could get to a PC?

Well, I'm not an expert, but there isn't even a beta floating around. I'm not holding my breath waiting for a pure, free Skype client.

Well, it could be an email!
Check ALL your messages folders.
(Messages - menu - view folders - check all)
and see if you find it.

I'm on AT&T and I too am getting tired of the Bold being slow. The network is very slow in Vermont since we still don't have 3G, though when they took over Unicel network they said it would be here soon. Most towns have 2 bar reception unless in the Hills then it's hit or miss, in the cities 3 /4 Bars & SLOW! Bring on the Droid & hope it's better.

I've been test driving an HTC Dream on Rogers, and while there are lots of things I like about the experience, I still go back to my Bold for most of my mobile needs.

The main advantage (among many) for me is the efficiency and security of the e-mail push. I think you will find that others here agree.
I encourage you to read through the fourms here...should give you a good feel for why so many use BlackBerrys.

It depends. What carriers are you considering?
Sprint and Verizon devices are not interchangeable on those carriers, meaning you cannot put a Sprint device on Verizon and vice versa.
In the GSM world, ATT and TMO operate on different 3G frequencies that are not compatible.
And of course you can't put a GSM device on a CDMA network.
Hybrid devices like the 9530 are 3G on CDMA, but ...

This means the BIS bolt-on is not associated with your device. You need to log into your BIS page at O2, enter your BlackBerry's PIN and IMEI numbers. Then on your BlackBerry go to Options > Advanced Options > Host Routing Table and use the Menu key to select "register with network". You can then to back to the BIS page via your pc and send your service books.
