Jawbone, Jawbone 2 or Bluant z9i?

Just yesterday I had the end cap pull come off when I removed the charger from my Jawbone 1. I had to use pliers to pull it out. It appears that the Jawbone still works but now the end cap will come off each time I charge the unit. I do wish they had gone with a standard usb charger plug. Edited to add: Jawbone is sending me a new unit.

I have too many handheld services for my bluetooth according to the Storm device properties. This may be the reason I can no longer use the earpiece to voice dial...It only acts as a headset...not a hands-free unit. If only I could remove all the errant headset services, I'm sure I could get voice dialing to work again... Any thoughts? Under: options - bluetooth - Motorola H700 - menu - device properties the original settings look as...

Trying to use the GO 730 as a car speakerphone for my Curve 8310 where audio comes through car speakers via FM Transmission or AUX cable. Any ideas? I can pair and use the GO 730's internal speaker but that's a pretty weak speaker.

Subject line really says it all. I am trying to find out which BBs support the RSAP protocol to allow the handsfree kit in a UK VW Passat CC to download the devices address book to the car kit.

Bluetooth Stereo Headsets

Is the drop out coming when you are outside? The bluetooth signal distance is drasically reduced outside because the signal has no walls to bounce off and come back at you. Class 2 bluetooth is 10m range but outside it could be half a meter away and you may still get occassional signal loss. Inside it should be better. Do you find you get a delay in the mouthed words on the film and when you hear them?

I have a 2005 Audi A6 with the latest MMI controller (the dealership fried my controller while doing an upgrade, so be careful if you request this as it's not covered under warranty. My phone book transferred, the phone connects via bluetooth without any issues, however, I get a significant delay (sometimes up to 20 seconds) when I place an outgoing call via the phone. I see the phone dealing, the name and caller ID on the phone but my...

All is sorta still good.
Everything with the 590e is working superbly, except on the movies I get a 1-2sec audio drop out every few minutes.
Not sure if it is my audio (acc) format which both items support, or something with the 8900. This doesn't happen when not on the headphones or when I play through the earbuds that came with the 8900. So, I will assume it is in the 590e or the ...

I have never tried the Blue Ant, I have owned both Jawbones, the original since its release date and the Jawbone 2 since its release date and they are the only headsets I ever use. Jawbone 2 is my daily with the original as backup incase my battery dies.
