Dear All, On a recent Florida holiday I added Black Tern ( Chlidonias niger , Sibley 2003) to my US list. I have since been told that the American BT is now a split from the European species I'm more used to seeing. Please could someone confirm and explain this split? Also, are there recognisable
phenotype differences between the two? many thanks Kevin
