Looks nice, good luck with the sale. It's tough selling a Coupe right now.

It's tight but you don't need to remove the steering wheel. I have link in one of the old threads I once started. I'll see if I can dig it up. EDIT: some links here: http://www.bimmerfest.com/forums/sho...ighlight=bulbs http://bimmer.roadfly.com/bmw/forums/z3/580086-7.html

you need to have really skinny arms, small hands, ability to disconnect alot of stuff under the car and possibly lower the subframe a little to help with removal. getting the old one out is easy, aligning the holes and getting the bolts back in is possibly the most annoying thing I've ever done on a car. If you dont feel comfortable doing it, take it somewhere

Not just health insurance but life insurance and disability insurance. Face it, however remote the possibility, high thrill activities such as track driving can be dangerous or even deadly. I had a colleague who was a successful cardiologist with a young family and a beautiful home in an upscale neighborhood who was killed while piloting a private plane. His life insurance was voided because his death was a result of his flying. His wife had...

Is anyone interested in a second group buy? I set one up nearly 3 years ago that was quite successful. With the slew of new owners, people who have traded up, etc, I figured its worth asking...since I need a new one for the s54 myself. If it works the same way, it'll be like 50 bucks off, a free large accessory kit, and free shipping if we get a minimum of 10 ...

The only time I wish I didn't have conforti software is at autocrosses. First gear is still very twitchy and hard to control in an autocross. I'm glad you went from sport mode to software. I had software and tried to add sport mode. I have said that doing so does nothing, then found out from Jim Conforti through Turner Motorsports that Conforti Shark adds perma sport mode throttle mapping ...

Before you go throwing more parts at it, I'd concentrate on what was already done. Based on your description of the symptoms, it sure sounds like you've got a bad ball joint (either outer or inner) or something went wrong with the control arm bushing installation or the wheel bearing installation. I'd also make sure you aren't just feeling the new suspension, and there's nothing wrong at all...

Probably normal. I'll get it sometimes when downshifting. You'll also hear it when revving the engine a bit. Nothing under acceleration though.
