fun2drive, after you choose the model, choose "System Diagnostic Tests" then "Information and Communication" (IC) - the Service reset is there.

This forum is for dealing with diagnostics software and I think what you are asking about is an aftermarket air flow convertor. You'd be better off posting elsewhere on the board - say performance tuning.

After first install, reboot. I'm not sure if its necessary, but this might help as well: on the shortcut to the application, right click -> properties -> (shortcut tab) advanced -> check the box for 'run as administrator' If that doesn't work, install windows 7 or XP

I looked at the forum today hoping to see some nice comments about Carsoft 8.2 and Carsoftwest but instead I see many VISTA users are having problems with the dongle drivers. I'm sorry to see this and I understand your frustration. It is not possible for me to fix this problem but I did send a message to Dirk Scevenels owner of Carsoft International and he wants to solve this problem quickly. Please send a message with your phone number...

I was under the impression reading David Mc write up that we would be getting knowledge about the codes. If not than I am not too happy as that was the reason I bought this too. I have a Peake code reader but it is insufficient for the task at hand. David if you see this can you tell us if we should be getting some idea of what the codes mean? Honestly it makes no sense to have a tool like this without the supporting description of what it...

David, I know we've spoken in the past, however I've got a million and one things going on. What if we don't have a later model? Would you suggest 8.0, or sticking with the old 6.5?

Software/cable is very simple to configure, just plug everything; serial to laptop then obd to your car, key in - ignition on and run software scanning.. there should be no problem (assuming that your serial port is working ok).

During a wet afternoon I actually translated some of the NCS Help file into English if that is of any use. I also have handbooks somewhere for GT1, SSS & OPS etc and a guide to INPA in English.

Just erase the error from the airbag module refardles of whether it is showing an error. This looks like you body shop have pinched or nicked the wiring harness. The ZKE/ZVM error says that the led indicator light (or its wire) for your anti-theft system is shorted to the battery + terminal. Since the ZKE/ZVM is interconnected with most other modules it is a strong possibility that a single ...
