The thing is, for us europeans it's really weird that analysing the opponents signals that are there for everyone to see, it considered cheating. Analysing video footage of the opponent seems to be a large part of what i.e. a national footbal coach does. Now in soccer "signals" are not really a part of the game, but
free kick strategies are definately practiced a lot and studied a lot, as are ...
