The TK40 fenix light has been out for quite a while.. It is way overpriced and uses aa cells insead of 18650.s.. It uses a MC-e emitter but very comparable in output to a P7, would I buy one, hell no.. Can't help you much with that one, because I've always been a Mac man and I've used Ascent since if first came out. The developer of Ascent is very accessible and I'm sure he could help if you contacted him. I'm also sure you will be very happy with the switch.

I've always thought an electronic horn would be a decent idea. Seems like to be loud it would need a lot of power and/or a large speaker or emitter. This is about all I have ever found though. I haven't seen a DIY for that particular housing. Parts are the same and you can get them all at ledsupply.com and digikey.com. If you can reuse the reflector you can save a few bucks.
