All I'm saying is that, in the USA, the U.S. game is the one that should be shown on the more widely accessible channel. That's how it works for national team games in other countries.

I was really hoping that someone with access to the US Soccer camp would do some sort of "How has EJ's time in England impacted his play, attitudes, lifestyle" kind of thing. He's been a polarizing figure for U.S. Soccer fans just like Adu has, for instance. I'd really like to get an unadulterated "before and after" opinion on him. Since he is getting/going to get limited minutes, it's...

My knee-jerk reaction was, "No." I don't think he ready for the field on an international level. But if players like Jimmy Conrad and Clarence Goodson are in the mix, there's no reason Gonzalez shouldn't be called in for a camp...probably in January, should there be one. I definitely think Gonzalez is a player who could grow into a viable option for 2014, though.

I don't think we have the room with the injuries and questions on the roster to waste on a U-17.

If it does take six months for him to come back, as his doctor stated, then that would mean a return in late April.
However, the Serie A season ends on May 16th, and I just can't imagine him getting any playing time in that brief window when you consider that AC Milan wasn't even playing him when he was perfectly healthy.
Not trying to be a Debbie Downer here, but that doesn't bode ...

Before I clicked on this thread I was going to make a joke about Freddy Adu, then I opened it and saw that it was actually about Freddy. Sad story.

SportsCenter led off with a report. Nothing was said that we didn't already know. However, they continue to say it is not known if Charlie was the driver. Of course Wahl and Goff have said numerous times today/tonight Charlie wasn't the driver. Nonetheless, has opened the eyes to casual fans and I hope their support and sadness extends to all the parties involved. It's been a crazy, sad day. I ...
