That 150-200k seems to be a salary point that MLS can compete against clubs outside the big leagues. For McCarty, it offers a chance to establish himself, be available for the national team, and still get a big contract in Europe in four years (or less). Seems like a win all around. Hope...

I voted "Great," but it's sort of between that and "Okay." I like the strict moderation and the demand that threads stay on topic relative to other forums on BigSoccer, and feel that an even tighter grip would be better.
Overall, though, this is my first destination on BS, for both discussion and news/information. Keep up the good work.
