Look I know Laids has fallen on is sword by offering Hamish up for trade, and there seems to be a thawing of the ice between Harris, Jones and Laids.....but at the end of the day, I agree with how the Club has gone about trade week. At the core, trade week is a f*ckin meat market, but to amplify some interest in Harris, Laids has thrown the provebial spanner in the works with Hamish, ...

Swan dive Michael Cowley | October 13, 2008 T HE call he had been expecting finally arrived last Friday. But, if he is honest with himself, Nick Davis says he probably knew his time at the Swans was nearing an end as early as the pre-season. It was coach Paul Roos on the line last week, telling Davis that he was no longer required at the club after 97 matches and six seasons, ...

We can heal rift- Dean Laidley Jon Ralph | October 13, 2008 12:00am NORTH Melbourne coach Dean Laidley believes he can quickly repair any damage caused by his club's aborted attempt to trade ruckman Hamish McIntosh and forward Corey Jones. Both players were unexpectedly offered as trade bait, along with midfielder Daniel Harris, who was eager to find a new home after falling out with...

From an article on Geelong's Lonergan - whom I might add should take whatever the **** he is offered, seriously, talk about biting the hand: Quote: Meanwhile, North Melbourne is yet to sign Leigh Harding for 2009, with the reborn defender hoping for a two-year contract and the Roos offering a single-year deal. "He finished ninth in their best-and-fairest ...

I am actually getting a little sick of people fearing this as the last of the uncomprimised drafts. Here are some ideas that people would like to consider before slagging me off all the time for my suggestions: 1) There is no need to swap all our players for picks this year, causing us to go shit in the next couple of years and not fully making use of our high draft pick potential because GC...

This years nominees: savage hotdog: Newbie of sorts, savage has taken the board by storm. With his most prolific posting period coming right at the end of the season, trade week, savage managed to throw up some of the greatest ever come across, with "Harris + 3rd Rounder for Nick Davis", "Nathan Carroll" amongst other trade suggestions. Savage has managed to win the appraisal of some of the...

According to Kennett. This is very insulting. Jeff Kennett angers Eugene Arocca Glenn McFarlane | October 12, 2008 12:00am NORTH Melbourne chief executive Eugene Arocca has accused Hawthorn president Jeff Kennett of taking a cheap shot at his club. Kennett claimed last week that a key reason for the Hawks' premiership was that their staff worked harder than those at clubs such as ...

NORTH Melbourne's Daniel Harris will seek a new club when AFL trade week begins on Monday. Harris, one of the competition's best at centre clearances, has asked the Roos to open discussions about his future with all other clubs. Although contracted to North for 2009 in a deal struck this time last year, Harris this week told coach Dean Laidley he felt his game would benefit by playing ...

Bold Roos offer to trade McIntosh Michael Gleeson and Jake Niall | October 7, 2008 NORTH MELBOURNE has emerged as the boldest player in trade week, having yesterday indicated a surprising willingness to trade No. 1 ruckman Hamish McIntosh, forward Corey Jones and midfielder Daniel Harris. The Roos, who signed McIntosh to a three-year deal in June, caught all clubs off guard by ...

So now we have managed to piss off Hamish simply because Dean can't keep his big trap shut. The man has an autistic level EQ. We may as bloody well trade him now given he is annoyed with us. Can we not have some new rejigged coaching structure? Dean does the preperation and match day stuff he is good at. Someone else does the meejya stuff, the trading and most importantly, ...

Don't know if this has turned up in any newspaper article but Greg Denham said on SEN that the decision to dangle Hamish for trade was actually approved by the board. Not sure if that's altogether true but that's what he said.

Prismall is our number 1 target but looks unlikely. We have gone cold on Thomson Harris has got interest from Sydney, Richmond and Carlton. None from the Pies as yet which is a surprise. No interest in Swallow We have taken Jones off the table at the moment. McIntosh is off the table at the moment, although it looks like a lot of what has happened is due to his knee ...

Hamish McIntosh likely to stay a Kangaroo Jon Ralph | October 08, 2008 12:00am NORTH Melbourne ruckman Hamish McIntosh looks set to stay at Arden St. Potential suitors are wary of the Roos ' motivation and that the 24-year-old happy to remain there. After an emotional 24 hours in which McIntosh was publicly put up for trade by coach Dean Laidley for a high pick, developments ...

The quiet trade week spawns this type of article... Rookie causes turbulence with high jinks Caroline Wilson | October 10, 2008 MICHAEL Wundke has not played a senior game for North Melbourne but the South Australian rookie might well have secured his place in the club's history for his part in the downfall of a time-honoured Kangaroos tradition. The end-of-season footy trip in...

I have a horrible feeling we'll end up with him on our list next season, whether it be through a trade next week or the PSD. Anyone have similar fears?
