That's just the info the register uses. The only plans that have ever been sold on 360s are GSBTP plans, and PRPs.

Yes I registered my laptop online but when I called the manufacturer, they told me that they dont think they sent it to them. They think that they just told me they did and sent it to one of there geek squad agencies. Just more bull. I even had a phone call from the store saying my computer was ready for pick up and when I asked what the outcome was it was different than the last 3 calls I had gotten.

From what I've always been told, the protection plans start on the date of purchase and there is unfortunately no way to adjust the time span of the coverage.

Actually, EVERY warranty I've ever taken the time to read EXCLUDES accidental damage from being covered by it. Go ahead and read the warranty for any other item you still have the card/paperwork for and it'll say somewhere in it that it doesn't cover accidents.
