The L44757 is not for your engine. It is for the M104 engine. Purolator L25277 (Mann HU 718/5) is for your engine. The filter for the M104 is longer than that for M112. http://www.benzworld.org/forums/w210...u-718-5-a.html

cylinderical shaped unit with wires going to it? If that is what you are pondering it is the secondary air pump.Turns on with ignition and pumps extra air into the exhaust system so that the ulev engine fires up its cat converters faster than 2 minutes and reduces pollution. If it is not that post a picture with a finger pointing towards it and we can give you a more detailed explanation Goes off after it has done its job

CR There is a $10.oo (per side) part that is about 8" long on the end of the sway bar. It stopped my front end rattle. The rubber round bushings wear out. There is a similar subject just now wrapping up on these spring perches. I'm going through a replacement now. Mercedes here is not going to be so accommodating. aardvark

happy thanksgiving everyone, after close inpection of the hub, it seem impossible to get it off by the looks of it. i dont have the tool to get the dust cover off. i dont know where to start. why not start with the rotors. so i got to take the rotors off this morning, you definitely need a power tool to get the caliper bolts off. they're a strange 18mm in size, which my tool set is lacking. i got a 17mm and and 19mm. i had to use a 11/16...

Wouldn't be anything new if PO would use SAE bolts on metric car
Drilling the bolt head off and than trying to remove the rest with vise grip would be a good start.
This is not an easy task and sounds like you already lost some threaded studs.
Good luck.

If you can see this link in youtube, this might help: You Tube
The fuse could be out, aside from a bad bulb. Although in my case the connector plug was disconnected by whoever last worked on the car and didn't reconnect it.

Tires can make big difference. Not only noise-wise, but performance as well.
I've been buying Michelins for years at Costco, what was excellent value with long lasting thread, but since I don't drive much lately, I opted for cheaper Firehawks last season.
Those might have slightly lower ride comfort, but beat Michelins in slippery conditions by a mile.
The trouble is that you can't tell very...

Search for kobus' posts on them. He's got an SLK as well so there might be a post in that forum. You don't have to remove much but on the passenger side I found it easier to remove the intake plumbing.
Hardest part of the process is cleaning the old sealant off.

The 722.3/4/5 use the same fluid. It is DEX III.
However, you can also use the more expensive fluid that is for the 722.6, according to Mercedes. Not that you would do it but I thought to point it out.
As for capacity, check with your owners manual

If the wheels were torqued to 85# this should not have happened . Perhaps someone loosened the lugs , either in an attempted robbery or a sick joke. I would not tighten over 85# or you may never get the wheel off when you need to.

How can you be very happy with your car? I would be furious. BTW, some of
the problem can be fixed, but can you give more details? Your idle problem
could be due to failing engine mounts, easy DIY. Any error codes? Why are
the headlight faulty? Have you tried to disconnect and wait for a few
minutes and reconnect the battery to try to solve the window/radio issues?

If what Musikman suggested is not working, you need to take the switchs out and test if they work properly. You can do that with a wee battery and a light bulb. Then you'll find the culpid

I think they will eat some of the cost, but haven't checked. From my reading on the subject that was years back.
In my case, I caught the damage before it was too far gone or ready to detonate and launch a spring. With some 18ga metal (compared to their ~24 ga), I am able to tack weld and resupport with backing metal and angles welded to the perch head. It will be much stronger than factory. ...

Welcome to the forum, jhyyz65.
Both the door locks and headrests are operated by a little vacuum/pressure pump (PSE pump) near the battery. The first thing to do is to remove the rear seat and check to see if there is any water/moisture near that pump. Some water from the Gulf might have find its way there.
Does the fuel door lock/unlock work?

Anything over 17" isn't even practical on a daily driver. Unless you really don't care about how your car handles/feels, go with 20's. i hate when i get behind someone with huge rims, and they have to literally slow to a crawl at every pothole or tiny bump in the road. get w211 OEM e class wheels. they look great on w210's, imo

00 E320 uses D2B fiber optic connectivity between head unit (usually Audio30)
and the changer (usually MC 3010 or MC 3198). I am not seeing anything
that indicates that the Sony CDX-454RF is D2B compliant. A scan of their
installation/manual does not identify D2B
