I have had people comment here and there, like when I had the seat repaired and the other day at Best Buy when the guy was looking at my car for the keyless entry, he said it is in nice shape and looks straight. There's something about a Benz that just makes you feel special when you drive them, even the older ones. I like glancing at the hood star as I cruise down the street, at night when you drive under street lights or if someone...

I've just filled up for the first time: 397 km mixed city and highway required 53 Litres to refill= 7.5km per litre. Toronto 91 Octane xmas 2009 = CDN$1.09 Therefore 15 cents per KM. Seems easier and more relevant than citing City/Hwy consumption.

in the fall my 2.6 i would fill it up with 10L and i could go about 95-100KM
which was very good in my opinion...
now with the winter i notice it is not going that far... 10L = about 80km i dont know if my car is getting weaker or the winter is causing it to get lower mpg.. but its still not too bad.

rear window is it jus a broken switch or sre both switches not working. as for the stereo, get a new HU and rewire all 4 speakers and your all set. it could be a bad speake or it could be a bad amp, the amp in the trunk only controls the door speakers the other speakers are powered by the amp in the HU. more then likely the radio is bad. if you want to keep it stock get a new one off ebay. ...

I was driving my red 2.6 a few years ago in uniform on my way to court. It was in the summer and I had the front windows open. Two older women were parked at the light next to me and asked "Did you seize that car from drug dealers?" I laughed and said, "Sure did, you never know what you are going to see the police drive." I'm sure they they told all their friends about that! ...and no my red 2.6...

bosch plats are bad for these motors.. i had mis-matched plugs on a car i got and it ran like complete crap, i would suggest you go get a set of copper core or non-resistor plugs.

Why dont you use it and let us know. I ve always used Mann and Hengst
German filters and our cars have always gone over 200,000 Miles no
problems. Occasionally I throw on a Mobil 1 Extended Performance Oil Filter
when I cannot get a factory oil filter readily. I do notice that with Mobil
1 filters my car starts a little hard for some reason in the beginning, but
after a 500 miles it goes away.

1 stolen, and probably hanging around some hip hoppers neck on a gold chain.
