I think a lot of it (95%) of the SLK snow ability is to do with the tyres (Although given the height of the front skirt deep snow would def be a no-no) There are others with a lot more experience in snow tyre choice (In fact there are some good threads already).
With Auto sticking it in comfort so it pulls off in
second gear it crucial

Its name in EPC is expansion plug on vacuum pump--epc contains footnote "see DTB S-B-01.30/23a regarding seepage from back of
cylinder head."
EPC states "no longer applicable," which must mean later models don't use it.
In any event, I'd visit service department to get a chance to read the dtb, as if you're still under warranty they will for free apply the specified fix--which could be ...

It is generally accepted that low mileage cars be serviced at least once a year. Thoroughly ignore anyone who says "it is harder on a vehicle or any of its components to service such-and-such sooner than required." For example, someone on the Benzworld forum tried to convince us that it is hard on the engine to perform oil changes sooner than the service indicator asked. What a
doofus!

I guess it would depend on what you enjoy more, a Benz with a steel drop-top, or a Dodge hardtop (based on the old E-Class platform, and that's definitely not a bad thing.) If you can get an SRT8 Challenger for what you got from your insurance, you will be driving one bad-ass ...
