If you get it to work be sure to inform your insurance agent. Also, be prepared for every single accident you're involved in to be legally declared your fault.

TV Antennas: Placement
Published (2009-12-01 07:52:00)
Hey, Oh, I reside in Singapore. Here, we are using the DVB-T format for digital broadcast so it works out. You know what, I am going to try what you have said. I might try putting one of antennas behind the bumper to see how that works out. It will far from any interference I guess. I do not believed the antennas are powered. It is just a 4 pin connector that connects to the rear of the tuner. I am not sure if the OEM ones are powered, I could...

I have 2 amps 1 is 300 watts(150x2@4ohm), one is 1300 watts (1x1300@1ohm). For a total of 1600 watts. I have a Kinetik Power HC1800 ( Kinetik High Current Power Cells ) as a second battery witch is to NOT let the lights dim if the system is under 1800 watts, unfortunately it does dim in the cabin and the amp for my front speakers sorta cuts out at loud volumes. once when i went from drive to reverse it didn't engauge and i had to put it...

Published (2009-11-22 08:16:00)
Hi All, I recently purchased an "07" 350E, (just love it) It has the single CD player plus the 6 changer mag. I have no problem playing MP3 files, the problem is the single CD player needs a "thinner" Cd like commercial music CDs use otherwise the CD sticks and is difficult to eject. I was advised by my sales person to only use commercially produced music CDs to avoid the "sticking"...

After a quick look I did not find a diagram showing a grey/green wire from the antenna amplifier. Which option code does the car have for Comand?
I guess you did also check that the ground wire is OK (0V at the antenna amplifier contact)?
The car appears to have an active diversity amplifier, the radio should work with an ordinary antenna plugged to the FM antenna port, not the ZF port, of ...

Any guesses anyone?
The antennas look like these. (Hand-drawn, haha...)
The length of each stalk is about the 3/4 height of the rear windscreen.
The two leads (on top, 12 O'Clock) leading to the body are generic wires.

I don't think you have made any big mistake, loosing VIM is not that bad if you ask me and in order to allow address entry in motion, you have to have the Comand version coded. This seems to get changed on some units at the update while not on all.
Are you sure the audio CD issue occurs with all burnt CDs, sounds odd if the same CDs were working previously.

Jmac You'll need to take it to the dealer and have them reconfigure the menu to NOT look for the command system. COmmand updates the clock automatically from the GPS and without this ...
