Thanks for the suggestions. These features were on the dash menu. I guess after they disconnected the battery it all needed to be reset back up.

I have no problem playing MP3 files, the problem is the single CD player needs a "thinner" Cd like commercial music CDs use otherwise the CD sticks and is difficult to eject.
