try adding more curves in your flash work, Mr.D and mega, your animation is a bit choppy, try fixing that and make it more smooth, ask tread for animation help... ~Davs PS that platformer has a lot of bugs :P his head can go through a floating .. thing..

Firstly, for the walking system: I think that it should be Click + Mouse Move to walk. Use Shift to toggle running. (You can have stamina) Space/Enter to toggle shooting (If shooting is on, clicking shoots and doesn't let you walk) 0-9 for 10 weapon attacks.
