Give credit to Wake. Deacons have played at Richmond several times and will return game to X. At least the school is giving A-10 teams a chance for home cooking.

Great game. Too many opportunities that just didn't get converted. Nice to see McLean show up against big time competition. Oh well, conference play is going to determine X's fate and I don't see why they can't go 12-4 or better. 2 winnable road games to start league play isn't that bad.

Not being from X nation, this was a very enjoyable game to watch. Not a perfect game for either team but still outstanding performances by the players. I do wish X won and as well for Dayton against NM. Several years ago I talked to a Fidelity Rep, who lived outside of Cinni. I asked him if he was a X or Dayton fan and he said both. Is really possible to be both a Dayton and Xavier fan?

This game has double digit loss written all over it. Dayton just played last night and will probably leave tomorrow to fly across country and play New Mexico on New Year's night. Three days between games with a lot of travel. This is a game when looking at UD's schedule that just looks like a loss.
Also, throw in the fact that New Mexico is a lot better than people thought they would ...

I know this is just one man's thoughts/formula... but a 10-6 record in the A10 would be the third epic collapes for URI in 3 years. I do get this is one of the things that comes with following rhody with baron.. but still would be heartbreaking... again

What an idiot you are MW/Prop. Davidson had 2 top100 wins all year. X already has 2 and still has 7 more chances. The cryers,Richmond, and RI all are coming to Cintas with potentially top25 RPI's. X hasn't lost a home conference game in years so I would expect at least 2 wins out of those 3 and very likely all 3. Come March X will be in good shape if they can get 11 conference wins.

LaSalle needs to pull out the Cornell game. Would be a huge RPI boost for the league. Tight game early in second half.

Brian Gregory wasn’t always this popular. Before last season there was a lot of grumbling by some Dayton fans, who are demanding lot. Personally I never understood why. I thought Gregory has been moving the program in the right direction since he arrived. He's always had a plan.
In his first year, Gregory showed he could coach a talented and experienced team. The Flyers played hard and show ...

this is a HUGE game for URI in the RPI´s and their biggest OOC game. A win and this team might get a little national attention. Cothran is budding into a star right now. not sure what is up with Rhody, but they keep getting it done when not expected.....
huge win here boys...do it

Agree WH, I don't want UD to win the conference because X got worse. Rather, I want Dayton to raise their program to the high level of Xavier's.
It's strange for me to see X with a guy that is THE MAN. I know the Muskies have a talented supporting cast, but their reliance on Crawford to be good out of the chute is decidedly un-Xavier-like. I also think Xavier is in a bad spot with ...
