America East Gameday: Sunday 11/29

Nice to see UVM beat up on a bad Toledo team today. Looked like everyone got a lot of minutes and guys like Crenca and Accaoui produced. So there is some perspective, it's too bad we did not play better against Drexel and Cornell in our losses but truth is both of those teams are better than we are- and both of those teams would beat any other America East team as well. Drexel was very physical and Cornell has some very talented players...

perhaps the only thing worse than UVM's performance this afternoon was today's game recap from ESPN Hopefully the catamounts can at least take down Toledo tomorrow afternoon (who were down 41-19 at the break to Drexel today) but I won't be holding my breath...

Will, do you think UNH still has a shot to land Brito? I'm up in the air about it because of the commitment from Morris, a shooting guard. I think Brito would be an excellent player in the AE. He is small (6'1) but is slasher, and I'd like to see UNH bring in guards like that. I guess I wouldn't be surprised if UNH was going after someone in the Colby Santos mold - 6'5 who can shoot the three.

Congrats to the Cats. Played well and beat a team they should. Now lets continue that play on Tuesday against Dartmouth and get back to .500. I think I'll be heading down to take that one in.

Sorry. Maybe I'm just extra-dense this morning, but I can't figure out how to update the list we've been keeping.

I'm gonna go out on a limb here, but probably one of the 5 or 3 best transfers the NEC has ever gotten. He completely turned around that program. Counting the year he sat out, we had been to 2 NEC tournaments in 6 years and not finished higher then 7th, and had gotten killed by Central in the playoffs both times we played. That year he joined the program, we finished second, we played our ...

I'm interested to see if the game against UCF was an anomaly or if this team is starting to come together.

I'm making the drive from Baltimore to JMU tomorrow to watch the game.
I hope I can find a way to sneak behind our bench and not have to sit up in the rafters somewhere like at GW.

Drexel is an athletic, tough defensive team. UVM usually struggles against teams like that, we will need to get good guard play. This game could go either way, a slight advantage to Drexel being at home.

i think the BU vs. NU game should be really good. It starts soon too.
If this was the regular old Harvard, I would say UNH would have an edge. But with their new recruiting tactics this is going to be a tough game for UNH. The 'Cats needs to shoot at a high percentage if they want to have a chance.
Bing is playing a DII school, so they should win... granted I guess I wouldn't be shocked if...

Well, after pulling into a 1 pt lead, 46-45 with 44 secs to go, Bing lost to Canisius, 49-46. That drops them to 0-4 to begin the year with a game on December 2nd at winless Siena. OK, so I asked about Bing... what on earth has happened to Siena? They were always good, getting 20 wins/year. I mean, they lost at Wagner who is awful.
Do any of the Albany fans hae any idea what has happened...
