From the User CP you can add replies that you find yourself using often. This way if you wanted to answer one of the often repeated questions you can just select the "canned reply" and save yourself having to type out the post. There should be a edit canned replies link in the User CP that when you click on you can then "add canned replies"

I was looking at threads when I saw someone with Reptile Dysfunction under their user name! I have no clue what this means but i can guess its not a good thing and I most likely don't want it!
