Good one. Though it seems we have gone off topic. Would like to congratulate the Lim Kenn for his gold medal at BUCS Individuals this weekend and agree with the comments made previously regarding English badminton players. I think that the Malaysian players can attract the top english players to come to the university for good training purposes.... it also appears that Kenn is a bit of a celebrity (based on the amount of attention he got this...

Was this called CourtSide or was it called Internation Badminton? Someone at our club brought an October edition of International Badminton and said it got sent to her, but I was sure that this wasn't the new BE magazine, it had the same format as the old BE magazine though.

Anne Smillie, chief executive of Badminton Scotland, said: "The World Badminton Championships are not actually being supported by Badminton Scotland as they are not in our tournament programme." Why do they still travel to the IBF meetings round the world (expenses paid) when they dont even send players to the World championships!

Seems to me he did pretty well. As a player in the 1970’s and 1980’s his results were very impressive. At the moment, as a veteran, the world champion at his particular age group. As a coach Scotland won the first ever team medal at the Commonwealth Games or any other International competition.
