Well, I was waiting for my 3rd temp rise today for FF to record OV but as u can see there was the unexpected dip! I am unsure how long my cycles are as this is my first cycle after coming off BCP 's (microgynon)... That's y I'm so confused! I think I OVed 4-5 days ago because of the sharp temp drop and lots of creamy CM (no EWCM though) I also had bloated OV cramps onbthe day of the first temp drop... What do u think?

To determine your lp you have to pinpoint your ovulation day. The best thing to do would be to do basal body temping to confirm that you O after you get a + opk then track how long it is from there. There are free online charting programmes, the most popular being Fertility Friend, its pretty easy to use and if you get stuck there are heaps of lovley ladies that will help you out. Hi there! I think there is some confusion here. You have bought ovulation tests - using them will help you pinpoint when you ovulate, and then you'll know how long your LP is. Your LP is the time between ovulation and your period. You can't start using them when your " LP arrives" because the whole point of them is that they tell you when your LP starts! when i think back i never knew i was pregnant 1st time and i had tomato soup for lunch one day and threw it out saying to other half its off because it tastes like the can!! 3 days later i found out i was 6weeks gone!! its a good sign! good luck x

This cycle was annovulatory. I had my FH and FSH blood tests and my estrogen levels were about the same all the way through, with nothing to indicate I had any sort of estrogen surge required for ovulation. My temperatures couldn't have had a clearer thermal shift, but that's because my LP hormones are perfectly normal.

I am due to ov cd 15 which for me is the 3rd, have put the sperm meets egg plan into place and bd every 2nd day til ov then every day! Can only test as my temps are everywhere as i get up odd times for my dd .
This is my 8th ttc cycle and its driving me nuts!
