Honestly - the amount of people who say to me 'You're still being sick? I thought you were in your second trimester?' followed by 'So which trimester is the good one?' and don't seem satisfied with the answer 'ummmm, this one?' I hate the fact that I am always cold (no sweating for me at the moment) when I'm used to being the warm person...I have spots all the time...and my hair doesn't seem...

Does you OH go with you for your obgyn/mw appointments all the time? They say it everywhere that it helps them to bond with the baby more and understand more of what's going on. I had my OH at three main appointments so far but didn't see the point of bringing him to my 16 weeks and now 21st week. I would guess it will be as quick as 16 weeks. Or should I be taking him regardless whether it's quick or major?

No you have every reason to be upset. They should be keeping there oppinions to themselvs, it is not like you asked what they think of the name. You have every right to choose the name you like. I am like you and do not wish to pick a common name either, I would like something a little unique. Try not to listen to them or let them upset you - i know it is hard as you would like there support but...

Is there anybody else on here who is planning on having an elective c-section? When you tell your friends and family what are the recponses you get. Most people I tell try and convince me to have natural birth which is really starting to annoy me because I have no intention of having a natural birth it just does not sound appealing to me. All that pain and uncertainty and stretching....no ...

Hi ladies, sorry to be moaning on here but am just felling so sad right now I've probably not posted in the right place so apologies in advance and thanks for taking the time to read. No I don't think you are being unreasonable at all hun. You want to pick the middle names in memory of your friend and I think this is lovely to remember her by, and your nephew. Maybe you could point out this, that it's not just naming after 'dead people' there's a bit more meaning about it, and perhaps say that as a middle name they won't be used as such on a daily basis but will be there as ...

I noticed a long time ago that women carry differently when they are carrying a boy to a girl. Boy bumps are more round and widely spread while girl bumps are compact and higher up, some even pointy! I love guessing the sexes of bumps and i am hardly wrong , get it wrong sometimes!so if you have a bump piccie that you wanna share i can have a guess! Please excuse me if i am wrong though...
