why am I not getting checked?

They will probably do your GBS test at your next appointment, just ask. Some doctors wait till 38 weeks to do it since it really doesnt take that long to get back from the lab and most 1st time moms go over due. It is BETTER to NOT be checked, it can introduce infection. A 3rd trimester ultrasound is not necessary unless you are high risk. Measuring the tummy and listening to the heartbeat is all that needs to be done. Regarding your last...

I could barely walk (still can't actually, they hurt that bad) I was TERRIFIED, I thought my uterus may...

Quoting Sharonblueyes{EBFB}: Oh you probably will! I know my Cal/Mag supplement helped a lot while I was pregnant. Hey, I ... [snip!] ... I was pregnant. Hey, I should try that again. I haven't taken calcium in a while and my sleep has been crappy lately. pulling all nighters doesn't help though silly!!! Quoting Faith and Abby's Mommy: If you don't want to hear people's opinions, don't post a question asking for them on a public forum. ... [snip!] ... And like I also said before, no I don't think you're selfish for asking for the c-section either..your doc said it wasn't safe. I completely disagree with you, I had a vaginal birth and I agree with Tiny Tots Mommy. She gave birth! Ella came out of her...

There are creams that you can put on it to help... you don't have to get them removed, most go away on their own. (but that cream will help with the pain and inflammation)
But if for whatever reason you can't find something that works, phone your doctor. They've heard it all, so don't feel embarrassed lol.

If its not medically necessary then yep you can refuse. To prevent tearing listen to your midwife when they tell you to stop pushing and pant.
I tore 2 times its not so bad

Everyone has a different idea of how they would like their labor to be. There is nothing wrong with getting and epidural if you need one. I know that is not what you believe in but it is what she feels is best for her.
