Someone on another website I go to sometimes posted about this dog toy that can be dangerous to dogs: http://www.thechaistory.blogspot.com/ I feel so bad for that dog!!! It would kill me if anything like that happened to Taffy or Missy! Just seeing that dog in pain makes me wanna cry! I don't know if they pulled this off the shelf or not, but just in case I wanted to pass ...

Winged cats have been known to exist since the 19th century, but only a handful of people have actually seen—let alone owned—one http://www.boingboing.net/2008/08/28...-discover.h tml I never groom my cat and all he's gotten is big rats in his hair occassionally.

An unexpected, quite pleasant side effect of my bird feeders is no more bees. We had a terrible bee/bumble bee problem before the feeders. Now, no more bees. I can now go outside without dodging bees. Hummingbirds are another story. I had no idea they were so friendly! Maybe a little too friendly.

It was pouring rain outside, so we brought the pups inside for a few hours. MISTAKE! We had papers down and they did use them to pee. We did find one present that one of them left us. But they were into everything! I was so glad when they finally tuckered themselves out and took a nap. The rain has let up, so I had Drew put them out until it starts up again. They are out there barking ...

Ok, so my dog broke her nail while digging the other day. The nail is still attached, but basically the whole nail-bed is exposed. She's fine, we kept it covered and now it's scabbed over. Does anyone have experience with this? My question is any idea how long it might take for her nail to heal/grow back? Thanks
