Its not our fault conservatives have to spew their hatred and it turns into chaos. And someone mentioned the picture in question was being hosted on storm front. Hmm...that should tell you right off the bat that its not just a dumb photo, but its meant to be racial in nature. And for those of you who aren't aware of this, storm front is a website dedicated to the cause of neo-nazis.

I'm waiting for Obama to tell us his plan before I decide on his first year and if he's competent at all. If he doesn't I'm sending him my Afghanistan Library =/

Sounds like America is slightly getting up there with Japan and hazing. I call it that because most hazing in Japan's school usually involves rape, straight and homosexual.

The site that hosted the picture was Stormfront, so it's no surprise. As offensive as the photo may be, I think it should remain on the grounds of free speech. Google wasn't responsible in any way, though.

http://www.cnn.com/2009/TECH/11/25/g...y-2/index.html By Saeed Ahmed, CNN November 25, 2009 12:05 p.m. EST Quote: (CNN) -- For most of the past week, when someone typed "Michelle Obama" in the popular search engine Google, one of the first images that came up was a picture of the American first lady altered to resemble a monkey. On Wednesday morning, the racially offensive image appeared to have been removed from any Google...

Stephan Hawking and Quantum Physics
Published (2009-11-24 11:16:00)
It doesnt seem that science gains much media attention. Instead of typing an essay, I found it easier to get to the point. Stephan Hawking is more to quantum physics than Einstein is to the theory of relativity. Hawking's belief that the lay person should have access to his work led him to write a series of popular science books in addition to his academic work. The first of these, A Brief History of Time , was published on 1 April 1988...

Probably shouldn't be leaving out the other opinion. But I don't blame them for doing so. All it takes is a few people with inaccurate information to plant the seed of doubt within a person's mind to get them on board with that scientist.

Well with Afghanistan the US is fucked if they do and fucked if they don't. I agree that US troops might be pissing off some of the local population. But if they US just leaves and the Taliban(or someone like them) just turns around and takes the country over again. It will just build more resentment just like it did when we left after the Soviet Afghan war in the 80's. Look where that got us. So...
