I've been to the Parade of Homes... It wasn't what I thought it would be. I grabbed a choice spot at the curb, but not a single home came by.

I know no way of doing it and it probably won't workanyway because I think what is Queued up is the formatted version with all the control codes for the printer options being targeted. So even if you could redirect it, it won't print correctly. as someone suugested, if the printer you have is a HP and the printer the computer formatted for is an HP of similar lineage then somply hooking the printer on hand to the port expected may...

For shop and around the house work jeans I have found their Rustler brand wears as good as Levi or Wrangler at about half the price. Since all my work jeans have at least one knee out I decided to pick up a couple of pair. My preference is boot cut and all most stores stock is the straight leg. I ordered 3 pair from their website yesterday at the cheapest shipping/slowest rate. Estimated delivery in the confirmation email was between Monday,...

Started making serious sawdust in Mr. Lund's woodworking class in 1958 at Nokomis Jr. High. I've been building stuff ever since. I bought my first BT3 clone (22811) 2 years ago and I've been enjoying my shop more than ever because of this cool saw.

Borates not boron. Though technically borates do contain a boron atom it is linked with 3 oxygen atoms and according to the wikipedia entry is then linked with other materials. Very good pest preventative. Can get rid of termites, mold and other assorted pests including your wood boring friends. http://www.pestproducts.com/bora_care_info.htm

Ahh.. It's that time of year again... We currently don't have a mouse problem, We have chipmunks. I have a theory that, since mice & chipmunks both prefer the same food sources & the chippers are a bit bigger, they drive off any mice that might want to move into the area. One year I was worried that the chippers were undermining the patio, so I decided to relocate then to a not too nearby ...

This is the day after the night before and I'm still stuffed. I'm just thinking about that wonderful meal that kept LOML busy half of Wednesday night, and most of Thursday. We had family over...my SIL, his wife, and the cutest baby girl, 2 yrs. old. Of course, getting ready for the meal entailed the special dinnerware, silverware, glasses, etc, you know the drill. The actual meal ...

CM - Thanks for bringing up the subject. Jo Ann and I went to the Macy's Thanksgiving parade November after 9-11. We still talk about it ... not only for the parade, but for the whole atmosphere in the City. As we flew into LaGuardia, we could see smoke from the Twin Towers site. Instead of dozens of news helicopters and banner planes flying over the parade, there was only one ...

I wondered about the security code of remote keys. Something similar: Last week I went to an acquaintance's house in my 2004 Toyota van. I parked beside his 2006 Toyota Van. He was going to show me some places to visit in his town when my family comes from the US (Tomorrow). After returning to his house from the tour, I went to get into my van and I clicked the button to unlock. His van ...

While a book isn't all you are going to need... A great book that got me started is "Learn to Turn, A Beginners Guide To Woodturning From Start To Finish" by Barry Gross. I have had a bunch of other turning books. Sold all of them but this one... Covers most subjects fairly completely... Some things just don't make sense until you see them done. For that, either an in person class at your ...

I had the same result from SP3 on my Dell notebook. Scared the you-know-what out of me! I'm staying at SP2 on both of my computers until I get around to installing Windows 7. I didn't find the reason for the problem. Just stay with SP2 and don't worry about it. I'm a very experienced computer nerd and some things just aren't worth the grief. Good news is that it's XP and you didn't get stuck...
