vRS Standard Seats vs Leather

If I could have had the leather option on the fabia I would have done because they get dirty very quickly! Ive gone for the leather for the fact and that I actually wanted leather seats for a change. I guess its all down to your budget at the end of the day.

The size that skoda fit is 225/45 R17 so it is probably best to stick to this.

Trading standards mate.
Sorry but reject the car as it's blatantly not of the expected quality.
To be fair a turbo leaking oil means that oil is getting somewhere it shouldn't. That means dead turbo or EGR and I'd say most likely turbo. If the seals are gone then it will die shortly and if the feed pipes are leaking then it will die a premature death.
The clutch and flywheel thing ...

No pitfalls, just bung the DVD in and when prompted follow the onscreen prompts. The units operation is as before once installed, the process takes about 45mins to copy the maps from the DVD to HD.
V5 is no longer the latest version, V6 is due to be available very shortly.

Can you run the car on 97, 98 or 99 ron fuel, eg Super Unleaded? vs the normal 95 ron stuff. As these engines are designed to run on it.

Nothing much the dealer can do.Many modern diesels have a DPF,that's why modern diesels are so clean. When you bought the car you should have had a tag hanged onto the interior mirror explaining that the car's got DPF,how it needs to be driven and re generated when the light comes on.The DPF light will come up occasionaly but it doesn't mean a trip to dealer everytime,to re generate drive at a ...

I would never use a trolley jack under a sill on any car. I do feel that the Octavia is pretty feeble when it comes to suitable points to jack it up.
Jack it up under a suspension component - afterall they're designed to take the weight of the car.

Hi, my 2005 Octy II TDi has 26k genteel miles on it from use in the relatively flat East Yorks. Just started getting the amber warning lamp up, fluid level good, took all wheels off to check the pad thickness' All minimum of 8.5mm, infact the Fr Lh inner pad , the one with the wire to it has a pad thickness of 10mm. Surely the pads do not need changing so early ??

Is it burning oil? It's a 2006 model, so I doubt it would be doing.
Might also be a dumb question, but are you checking the oil level with the car cold?
