Hello and welcome to Briskoda. I'm sure, when you have used the search button, you have found too many tyre threads in this section for the Furby vRS, (we definitely need a sticky definitive thread). I have had the Goodyears and, as I said in the other thread today, they cope very well in the wet and deep standing water (better then the raved about Toyos). However last winter they were useless, you might as well have slicks in the snow....

Seeing as the leak is due to water getting past the seal at the bottom of the window, not draining properly, and then getting past the internal seal on the door carrier, no.
Plus, I don't know about you, but my front seats don't fold forward, so you'd struggle to get in the back. Also, you might not have noticed, but the front doors on 3-door cars are considerably longer than those on 5-...

Not sure about the Fabia but there is often a non-replaceable fuse link on the back of the cigarette lighter sockets... so it may be you need a whole new socket.

I used Dave for the first time last weekend for servicing my Octavia 2 and very happy with his service and price! Will need a cambelt change soon and intend to return to see him for that. I can recommend too!

6 months younger than my car... mine is due a cambelt change (only done 32k) in May 2010 and full service so guessing yours needs similar?
Be changing of oil/filters/brake fluid and checking of usual brake discs/pads etc
Expect it to be circa £200 + and factor another £200 or more for cambelt if its due, every 4 years or 60k now.

That's not stretched at all!
I run that size tyre on my VW Longbeach wheels, which are 17x7.

Mmmm , ditchfinders.
At that price I'd be very suspicious.
Bulgarian apparently. http://www.tyresandaccessories.com/e...d=46&all_m= yes
They *look* like a nice tread pattern but I wouldn't trust them.

Yes, it is definitely the wrong oil, assuming they put old skool castrol gtx (mineral) in. AFAIK, castrol don't make GTX anymore, only magnatec and edge.
You should be using a fully synthetic oil which meets vw spec 505.01 (5w40, fixed service interval), or 506.01 (0w30, variable interval), or even 507.00 which covers everything
If you don't use the proper "PD" oil, you run the risk of ...
