where are you display the values? either in separate cell or some other area in the report thanks karu

Here is what I have come up with so far... I created a variable using =Right;10 to pick up the last ten characters... I then created another variable using a =IF statement based on the last ten characters, which eliminates the need to specify each specific unit number. Is there a better way? Thanks, Jim

Hi Hema Have you identified the timeout frequency? I think the default is 20 mins (but the gurus on here will correct me if I am wrong. Depending on your platform, the timeout period could be in your web.xml file (session timeout param). They are both methods of grouping your data - one of the main benefits of sections however is that each section heading can be a bookmark and so aid navigation in a large report. If you export a sectioned report to PDF, the bookmarks are exported too.
