This sounds like an interview question? BIAR, is unstable, does not do a "complete" back up of the system. Backing up the file store does, as long as you back up the CMS database at the same time. _________________ Next available 9th November 2009 for Contract Work. Yeah SP2 for the SAP integration kit has messed up this customers DEV environment. Now we can't access the InfoView or CMC logon page!!

At the end of the promotion process using Import Wizard, there should be a list of item being promoted. Click on each item can tell you the status or error. Are you not seeing this list? The list is also shown on the log file. Is it the first time you use Import Wizard? Has you used it successfully before?

The RDT can be a very handy tool, though a little challenging to set up initially. It's a command line tool. Options are stored in a text file that is referenced from the command line call.
