Unfortunately mak.. its SQL server that I am using.. if only microsoft would have allowed the lag and lead oracle functions to be accepted in sql server....

I have absolutely no idea about the MDAC, but thank you for your information. I have no rights to install or I am not the server administrator. Mak, Thanks ! But how is it running on Oracle ? Only when there is some data in Oracle DB, BO is throwing this table space error.If the date range has no data BO only tells me that there is no data to fetch !

It is possible to add a column in cross-tab report in place of sum.
For example, calculate =count([Approved]) . Now replace the cell value with new column =[STATUS]

The filter condition is getting multiple values whereas it is expecting only one.
Please change the filer condition to allow multiple values (use in list ).

I think you should use specific format position to achieve the required.
Right click on the table/chart/cell and then use format option -> go to "Appearance" tab and do the correct positioning.

I have three variables Publication Date, Cfmtd Net Val and Frontlist.
I want to insert a new variable Thereafter which has a calculation based on the Publication Date, 26/12/2008 and the first of the current month.
For example if the publication date is greater than 26/12/2008 and less than 1st of the current month pick up the figure in Frontlist Else 0

Hello,
We are migrating DeskI reports from 6.5 to the XI version. Doing this we encountered some problems and one repeats itself on several reports.
When the report is migrated the query of the dataprovidor is the same (some changes can happen) BUT the GROUP BY part is lost.
Does anyone know a possible reason or direction I have to look at to find the cause of this problem ...

But I would like to know how could be the real time requirement for using

Ravek, why don't you just schedule the report to refresh in Excel format via the Scheduler? You can also send the file (instance)via FTP, email or to a file location.
