no phone ring
Published (2009-12-22 12:59:00)
Not all phones have a ring tone that works through a headset, some have auto answer as a option and then ask how many times one wants the phone to ring before answering itself. Other phones have the auto answer feature but do not offer the ring option i.e. motorola razor, I phone, are some of the most common ones. Check the menu on the phone and see if it offers autoanswer and asks how many rings you want ......Kieth

If it is true, and a quick search on Google seems to more or less confirm it, that´s not good news. Their stuff was and is top rate, and in my opinion, worth the money you paid for it. I suppose the low $ has not helped but on the other hand the Euro is now nearly the same as the British pound which should have helped somewhat. Maybe at the moment and for the forseeable future, we the public are buying cheaper for less. Sign of the times I...

I installed mine about 6 or 7 years ago with the help of pictures and advice from this forum and it has been trouble free. It was easy to install and transparent in it's operation. Be careful buying accessories as there are two different types of cables. Mine uses the 5-pin type and the newer ones are 7.

nail24,
Was your install successful? I have the same options on my '08RT. Have been pondering adding helmet audio, etc. Depending on your experience, Autocom may be an option. Thanks for your time and good luck.
