I think it's insignificant on a daily driver. When dealing with a track car and looking to squeeze every bit of power while loosing every extra ounce of weight, you might notice a difference. For a car that is not exactly lightweight such as the E9x, saving 15lbs isn't going to matter much.

I had a nail on the old RFT's on the rear tire. I plugged it and drove an other 6000 miles before I got rid of them. Saved a ton of money.

Interesting question. I wonder how much of a difference between front and rear rollout the computer will tolerate. According to one calculator I've looked at there's a 1.2% difference between a 225/40-18 and a 235/35-18. The difference between a 235/40-18 and a 255/35-18 is 1.5%. Outside diameter is 25.1" vs 25.4", so it probably won't make much difference in filling the fender gap. ...

You can check tire weights at TireRack. I weighed mine at 25 & 27 lbs at 1k miles. Michelin PS2s are 21 & 24 lbs. (light) Extreme performance tires tend to be in the 24-27 lbs range.

im assuming you bought 8.5 in front and 9.5 in back... the stock wheels are 8in front and 8.5 in back... you might be able to do the stock tires up front however i would recommend getting 235/35/19 and 265/30/19 for the best fit.

Stick a nail in it. I know its dishonest, but screw it, if they deny your claim when they should replace your tire, they are just as wrong .

What kind of offsets you got?? Just from the shots, I would say 5mm in the front and 10mm (or maybe a 12mm) in the rear; that is if you are not lowering. I would not do the 5mm if you are lowering.

If you're talking about the OEM potenzas then yea they won't fit a 9.5 wheels because I think those tires are 235? They also won't rub if you don't drop you car and/or you have a conservative offset. I think they have 33 and 35 offsets already for the e92? The ride quality though, will depend more actually on the tires you get but I'll say they'll stay the same if you're using the OEM run flats...
