Checked this morning and float still up towards the max position. Answer to the problem? Think maybe the float may have jammed somehow in the down position on its cruciform guide. It must have been in that position when it was filled with a set amount of coolant. When I first checked it was dawn and a little dark, I guess the coollant must have been there, but I did'nt notice it. I feel ...

Hello all I've just got my first BMW it's a 320i on a 55 plate and when the car is stationary it's making a noise a petrol car shouldn't, this normal 4 the ages and model, the car as a Full service history and mot all perfect, just this has me a little worried?

in my experience intelligent use of CC can be as good as nonCC driving. Over long distances on the motorway going on the flat or downhill, CC is very efficient. The only time is loses out is uphill (even a gentle incline on the motorway).
