Rob, do you still have your conversion underway? is it ASR/RD lyke? As for the 6mm/8mm my understanding was that the wastegate axle was upgraded from 6mm to 8mm in last turbo revision. Did BMW modified something else? For the actuators is it 4mm or 6mm? of course not 8mm it is too big for an actuator rod.

I call the BMW assist line all the time. Much easier to jump in the car, speak to a nice lady to get an address or information then have it sent straight to the car.

@RobBeck: Thanks for your input, this contributes a lot to this discussion. Very interesting - keep the info coming! @marconi118: As far as I know the deactivation of the SES control should be no problem for DMS, Tony should already have that on board anyway. Matt, Can you get the B12 for the E90 ( 335D )? Why B12 over B16? ( not ride control as that's £££'s) I'm assuming BMW have stated that they won't stand by their warranty on the car or performance parts if fitted by others? How important is the warranty to you? (Is the car mapped?) I would not worry about fitting the BMW performance parts outside of the dealer ...

What about the Bilstein B12 or B14?? very good for £800-£1000 IMO - top quality upside down monotube design and properly tuned by road test. BTW the U.S. roads are generally much worse than ours believe me. Their 'sport' kits are usually softer than european ones.

You should be able to tap off the cigarette lighter/ashtray LED lead and run it down through the console. There's also the lead for the phone charger under the handbrake boot. I don't know about the error codes, though.

hehe this quote is typical: Note: Overboost is a maximum 1.0 bar. We will not increase the boost any further, as our extensive testing has proven this to be 100% reliable. They cant increase it because the ECU maps only goes up to 1 bar. it would take them a huge amount of resources and knowledge to rewrite all maps for going beyond 1 bar. Sames story as ESS stage 4.
