And ive gotta say the throttle advancement from the BMS tune is just amazing. Makes it totally worth it what are your mods other than the tune ?...

Will Performance void Warranty?
Published (2009-11-11 01:06:00)
Not to worry.. since it is a Bmw product you will not have a warranty problem. As for the installation, it is really difficult to mess it up since welding is not necessary, so any reliable shop would be able to do it

yes the large subconnector was an issue for me as well, but got over it by
lifting the dme tray up a little and pushing some of the other wires away.

I bet you will see some gains, but you would want to replace the whole
exhaust system and the intake and then get a tune done to see the best
numbers from it.

So I pulled the trigger on the BMS PowerBox Tuner a week ago, and finally had time to install it yesterday. At first, Map 3 didn't feel that great; however after driving the car for a day, it seems that the ECU has adapted much better before I installed it on the first day.
I have Scoops, K&N Filter w/ Charcoal Filter cut out. The BMS tuner is worth the $300.00 no doubt.
The car installed...

from my understanding, it will work and is compatible with your 330i. The problem is it was made specifically for the 328i and therefore any power increase as seen on the 328i will not be fully reflected on your 330i. What you will gain for sure is the improved throttle response.
I recommend you wait until BMS will make the powerbox specifically for your 330i. Sooner or later, they will come...

I am not sure if its on map 3 or not, but this are all the dyno sheets posted by mike so far. But from my personal experiance, i'd say get it because the car feels a LOT faster with the tune, the difference is like day and night.
