I don't know of a service bulletin about it but one thing to check is how old your tranny fluid is. If it has not been changed in awhile then I would have it flushed.

What they won't tell you is that BMW advises that an oil change be done at least once every 12 months if your car hasn't reached the 15,000 miles (approx.) in 12 months. Mr. 5 Have you used the water wetter before? I've heard it's anti-corrosion additive is not compatible with BMW coolant and leaves some brown residue floating around in the cooling system. People recommend to use the water wetter for Diesels as it does not contain the anti-corrosion additive. That is if you want to mix it with the BMW coolant of course. If you want to run plain water, I think the regular water wetter should work ok.

yes, BMW tells you every 15K miles. you can do it as often as you want, but you'll just have to pay for it, thats all. your warranty might be up anyway.

The brakes get a layer of rust on them when you wash them. After you wash, immediately take your car out for a drive to clean off the brakes. This should help a lot.

The dealer may have updated the software. I wouldn't worry about the radio stations. A technician has to drive the car to make sure everything is running ok. Strange that they would take the car in for DPF replacement and not do the work. It's also strange that they would not give you a copy of the work order.

What happened? Did your car get in an accident?
I know that you can't just stuff it back into here it came out of, the SRS light will stay on.
I would take it to a shop to have it replaced by a professional because god for bid you need the air bag, you want it to work.

I think it is. I took mine in because I had no sound coming from of a few of them. In my case, it turned out they were just unplugged for some reason.

Like every other manufacturer BMW loathes to do warranty work and the dealership is in the middle since they get reimbursed by BMWNA for the work. Sounds like you issue was never fixed (perm) and now they're having problems because the car is in for the same issue a second time (reoccurances maybe reported to BMWNA differently).
I'm just guessing here.

Might be better just to set $2,000 aside so you'll always have an emergency fund for repairs. Plus, your car might not even need $2,000 in repairs over the additional 2 years.
