Wasn't it Brabus who installed a PA system that simulated engine sound in an electric motor car? Yes: http://www.smart-car-blog.net/2009/smar ... technology That may very well be the future... edit: the noise idea, NOT the puke green Smart. Edit2: but you just know someone is going to hack their car and they'll end up sounding like a bloody marching band is coming down the road at 40mph

Can I assume that one of the most expensive cars in the world doesn't have bluetooth??? Great insurance claim form though, "I swerved into the lake to avoid the low flying...

Still, that kind of VAG grill and light affair seems to be appearing everywhere. You're not wrong....scriocco, golf and now the polo, makes you wonder if VW just do one drawing then make it bigger or smaller depending on which model they need.

New VW Scirroco

I felt it a tad quicker than my 56 120d M sport, although only fractionally up on BHP and identical in terms of torque. The interior wasn't that special (a bit bland and not as driver-focused as the 120) but the ride on 19"s was excellent. Even in Sport mode it was far more comfortable to be in that...

The cayman is a fantastic car m8, I would love one. I could have had a brand-new base cayman for what I'm paying for the 130i, but unfortunately-ish it's just not practical for my main car, and I just can't afford such an expensive toy I say unfortunately- ish because the fact that my grin goes all the way round the back of my head when I'm driving the 130 means I absolutely made the ...

That is exactly what I was amazed to find when I was looking at buying a used 1er about a month ago. I was looking for a car somewhere around the 2006 region and wanted a sporty 2.0litre Turbo diesel. I found that a golf 2.0TDI GT140 was about £8k and the 1er I ended up getting set me back £10k. So i essentially had to pay about £2k more for the 1er over a golf but look what you get:- -a ...

the brother in law used to have one of the first ones a good few years back. i really enjoyed it too, fast , good handling . felt really light on its feet. Unfortunately as with all things italian they are over engineered and they soon end up as vast money pits that will suck you dry of all your hard earned and leave you stranded at the side of the road.
