While arguing in another forum this question came to me, Which Franchise has the best horror theme attached to it? What theme really creeps you out when you hear it? Which one does the best job of supporting the movie? For me, of course, it's Friday the 13th. I remember hanging out in the woods or down by the lake whispering the ki ki ki ma ma ma freaking my friends out. But if you are ...

I loved this remake as well. It was almost as good as the original one. Like I said in the remake of the the first TCM, this movie was well balanced and well acted. A+

I had the classic discussion the other day with my roommate of if you truly think you could survive a horror film. The situation is that you would know just as little as the people who are in the movies. It's not like you got to see all 11 F13th's and know how Jason works. The other question is which one would be the hardest to survive? A Zombie Holocaust? A camping trip at Crystal ...

I just saw the original "Chucky" for the FIRST time ever last night, and I have to comment on the brilliant film I just saw. I don't know if this is the first film to feature evil toy transformation, but I believe it at least populised the idea. Now, I do plan on seeing the sequels some time soon. But I'm gonna go on a high note and say that this is the best one. I can tell that ...

Part 3: Dream Warriors...hands down. The first one is a classic, but this one is part of my DNA. This is the very first real horror flick I ever saw. It scared the hell outta me, so my dad explained all the behind the scenes stuff to me, bought me some copies of Fangoria, and showed me an interview with Robert Englund in the Freddy makeup. I turned into a horror fan instantly. This ...

There's absolutely no way round this for me. Just so easily 'A Nightmare on Elm Street'. That film was well-made, interesting, appropriately gory and quite scary. 'Friday the 13th' is truly freaky and very violent, but it's so shoddily made, and the acting is inexcusably awful. 1. 'A Nightmare on Elm Street' - A 2. 'Friday the 13th' - C

...And the Academy Award (should) go to, that guy taking the medics into the sanitarium. "You never get use to the faces, never." **bloodcurdling scream in the background*** medic-"Jesus!" that guy, grabing the medics arm, to add to the comedic genius, "Jesus has nothing to do w/ this place." When I watched H4 last night I busted up at this part, as I always do. I like H4 overall, maybe ...
