Hey all - I learned from a friend "in the know" several months ago that Weber was prepping a larger 26 inch kettle for 2009. It looks like it is the real deal. Derrick Riches has a post indicating he got a sneak preview of the 26 inch kettle, as well as a 22 1/2 inch WSM. From what I understand, the 26 inch kettle is pretty cool. Bigsoccer Welcome to the best bbq forum, and congrats on the new Weber. you will find the temps will not be as high after the grill "breaks in" but it does get hot. For low temp cooks you will have keep lid open a little may a inch or two. You have a great grill with great support, I wish you many happy years of grilling.
