The previous time prior to last week that I can recall when I did cry was back in October 2007 when I was leaving Hong Kong after a two-week visit with my uncle and aunt (on my mother's side) for the first time in 22 years - and it was also the first time I saw my cousins.

I cried when my father passed away. I couldn't hold back the tears. It was very emotional for me.

I saw my ex cry when we said goodbye after visits and also when he was remembering traumatic past events. I think it is good and healthy for a man to cry. It doesn't have to be in front of anyone, but a good cry with someone who cares for you can be therapeutic.

I've had this happen too. It's a very bad cycle with me. I date someone I like, it ends or just fizzles out then months later they come around again. and you're right, it's always terrible timing. My favorite part is they either realized it was a bad on their end or it's just better timing now, and they get pissed you haven't sat on your ass waiting for their triumphant return.

How long has it been since you left the cult? I can relate to a certain degree. I was once in a fascist church group. When I left it took me some time to recover. Such cults and fascists really do a good job in twisting your thinking so that you feel unneccessary guilt for ages. But hey, don't throw your life away right now. I just started to like you. Otherwise I have nothing clever ...

Yes, I did. I was beginning my life as an adult, my family kept interfering with my goals. I ended up moving out of state for a few years and had the happiest time of my life. When I moved back, they hadn't changed, I didn't understand...Lots of anger, to the point of affecting my health. Distance has been a major factor in self-preservation for me, so I only see them once every two to three...

I think it depends what line of work they're in. Jobs that involve sales, representing the company in some capacity, or public relations are definitely better suited for attractive people. Can you imagine if you're a doctor, and a pharmaceutical company's representative comes to tell you about their newest drug. Would you be more likely to listen if this person was rather attractive, or if ...
